Errol Ainsworth Glenstor Brown, MBE (* 12. November 1943 in Kingston, Jamaika als Lester Errol Brown; † 6. Werdegang

Errol Brown war 1969 in London einer der Begründer von Hot Chocolate. Dort blieb er bis Mitte der 1980er Jahre als Sänger und Songwriter. Zu seinen größten Erfolgen mit Hot Chocolate gehören unter anderem You Sexy Thing, Every 1’s a Winner, So You Win Again und Emma.

Seit er die Band 1985 verlassen hatte, trat er solo auf und war an Musikprojekten mit verschiedenen Künstlern beteiligt. Er arbeitete unter anderem mit Dieter Bohlen zusammen und wurde von Königin Elisabeth II. 2003 mit dem Order of the British Empire geehrt. Er war ab 1976 mit Ginette Brown verheiratet, der Ehe entstammen zwei Töchter.
