Thembelihle ({{#invoke:Vorlage:lang|full|CODE=en|SCRIPTING=Latn|SERVICE=englisch}}) ist eine Lokalgemeinde im Distrikt Pixley Ka Seme der südafrikanischen Provinz Nordkap. Der Sitz der Gemeindeverwaltung befindet sich in Hopetown. Bürgermeisterin ist Brenda Mpampa.<ref>Local Government Handbook. Der Gemeindename ist ein isiXhosa-Begriff für „(gute) Hoffnung“.<ref>Department of Arts and Culture: Place Names. auf www.salanguages.com (englisch).</ref>

Städte und Orte

Bevölkerung

Im Jahr 2011 hatte die Gemeinde 15.701 Einwohner. Davon waren 70,8 % Coloured, 15,2 % schwarz und 13,1 % weiß.<ref>Volkszählung 2011: Thembelihle. Abgerufen am 21. Laut Zensus 2022 beträgt die Einwohnerzahl 22,542. Davon sind 67,3 % Coloured, 12,2 % schwarz und 19,1 % weiß.
