Wikipedia:Sorge dich nicht um die Server

Der Betrieb der Server wird durch die Wikimedia Foundation übernommen. Als normaler Nutzer und auch als Autor braucht man sich keine Sorgen um den Speicherplatz und die Performance der Server zu machen. Die Software und die Server-Infrastruktur ist dafür ausgelegt, dass ein einzelner Benutzer die Zuverlässigkeit und Auslastung der Server kaum beeinflussen kann. Andererseits gilt auch: Die Performance ist ein reales Problem! Weil man sich als gewöhnlicher Benutzer normalerweise um die Performance nicht zu kümmern braucht, kann es trotzdem Ausnahmen geben: Wenn sich ein Systemadministrator zu Wort meldet, dann sollte man auch auf ihn hören. Daher ist es unsinnig, die Anfrage eines Systemadministrators mit einem Hinweis auf diese Seite zu beantworten.
