Die Cyclocross-Saison 2008/2009 beginnt im September 2008 und dauert an bis zum Februar 2009. Die einzelnen Rennen sind in drei Kategorien eingestuft. Die höchste Kategorie CDM sind Rennen des Weltcups, für den es eine spezielle Punktewertung gibt. Dahinter stehen die Rennen in den Kategorien C1 und C2. Bei den Rennen werden Punkte für die Weltrangliste vergeben.
